Our Story

Growing up, my parents had built quite the collection of various different antiques throughout our house. I wasn't too interested in collecting, especially at a young age, but nonetheless still built up small collections of mainly sports items and music memorabilia for myself.

From a young age I always appreciated the pieces and dedication to collecting and displaying. Somewhere along the line growing up, my small collection thinned and the passion for collecting was gone, until I turned to “Picking” many years later. The passion and dedication I had to this hobby was reignited tenfold. It started at flea markets and estate sales. Once the small town local sales were mastered, I gained a few leads, found collectors off the beaten path, and developed relationships. I look for those items that have been hidden from the public for decades. Not just because there is a market for it, but because I enjoy the hunt of finding someone who has been looking for that specific piece to add to their wonderful collection.

I enjoy doing the legwork, and digging through barns and dwellings to let these historic items see the light of day once again. I am a collector myself, so I understand the importance of collecting. Each and every piece I buy is an important part of American History, and our goal is to preserve that history to share with our future generations for years to come.
